Book II Update | 139,324 Words and Counting

Hey Everyone! I’m happy to say that a new chapter has been completed this week, bringing the new total word count to 139,324 words.

Have you ever had ‘writer’s block’? For those who are not familiar with the term, it’s when a writer is stuck at a crossroads and is unsure of where the story should go next or more specifically now to get from Point E to Point F in the story.

I was at one of those crossroads where I was trying to figure out how I should introduce a new character while having others make their next move. I knew where I needed to get our heroes (Point F) but a chapter ago, and I even know what Point F looks like, but I was not sure how it was going to come about.

However as soon as I completed the former chapter, suddenly the idea came to me, and it was a thousand times better than I had originally envisioned.

If you are at your own writers block and unsure of which direction comes next in the future, sometimes the best solution is to just keep writing and remain focused on what is before you. Then, because you were faithful to exercise the talents God had given you, He will be faithful to lead you to the next download for the storyline.

Whether you are a writer or working on another project, do it for God’s glory and He will always be there for you!
