Book II Update | 133,616 Words and Counting

Hey Everyone! I'm happy to share that I've completed a new chapter in Book II of The Odysseys of Alaythia series this week, making the new updated word count now 133,616.

Many of you have been asking me questions about Book II, and one of those questions was "will we expect to see more pirates in this next book?"

I'm excited to share that the answer is a strong "yes". In fact, while not giving away too much information, I may have just completed a few chapters that related with this very topic!

How much pirate related material? On a scale of 1 - 10, if the amount of pirate related events in Book I was a 1, then Book II will be at least a 3, if not more. Book III will have even more that Book II, and so on. In other words, with each new book released in the series, the number of pirate related material only increases, as well.

Throughout this writing process, there have been many moments in the story that I could not wait to write down. These past few chapters have been in my mind for years, and to finally see them down on paper is such a blessing!

I’ve had others who have DM’ed me on Instagram, sharing that they have a desire to write a book or wish to turn theirs into a theatrical audiobook version like how I did for mine. If you have a book in mind, I believe that you have been assigned to steward that talent and bring that book to life.

Whenever you feel down or afraid, don’t give up on that dream, that novel, that story that has been placed into your hands! This was entrusted for you to share with the world, and no one else can bring it into this world like how you can.
